For 2010 Benross,
it seems, have not just pushed the boundaries of golf-club design with
the new VX Proto PVD driver - they've managed to alter the laws of
economics as well.
The VX Proto PVD driver carries an RRP of £149 (we think it will
actually sell for around £20 cheaper than that) but it comes with an
Aldila Voodoo shaft which retails itself for £149.99.
The 460cc head is designed to be forgiving but not at the expense of
feel and workability. It is also finished in an eye-catching
premium black PVD, which looks great, reduces glare and is resistant to
peeling.
But the real story is the shaft, which has been used by Tour players
such as Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood.
The Aldila Voodoo shaft is available in the VX Proto PVD driver in
RVS6 (regular) and SVS6 (stiff). Both are mid-launch shafts and are
designed to be more stable throughout the swing to maximise energy
transfer and accuracy.
The VX Proto PVD driver is available in 10 and 12 degree lofts and comes with a Golf Pride MCC white grip as standard.

There are loads of new things promising to take things to the MAX these days but Benross have done exactly that in terms of the lofts on their new VX Proto fairway woods.
Designers at the company recognise that not every golfer can
generate the clubhead speed to get a traditional fairway wood in the
air so they've supplemented their 3-wood (15°) and 5-wood (19°) with
MAX loft versions - 18° and 21° respectively.
This gives golfers the same-sized clubhead as 3 and 5 woods but with additional loft to help them get the ball airborne.
The heads are designed to be traditional in shape but larger than
previous models to promote confidence over the ball but the low and
deep centre of gravity also means they can pick balls up off even the
tightest of lies.
The VX Proto fairway woods have an RRP of £69.99
The new Benross VX Proto escape clubs are designed to have everything an improving golfer wants in a forgiving rescue club.
The generous, yet traditional, head size is designed to promote
confidence while the shallow face design and thin crown promote a low
and deep centre of gravity to result in a high launch.
Aimed at players who struggle with long irons or who want to hit
high, soft-landing approach shots, the VX Proto escape clubs are
available in 17°, 20°, 23° and 26° lofts and come with Aldila DVS-I
shafts as standard.
The VX Proto escape clubs have an RRP of £59.99

Benross
know we're not all going to knock the ball round the course with the
precision, poise and accuracy of a Tour pro - that's why they've
brought out the Innovator X irons.
They're designed to help game-improving golfers make the most of what talent they may - or may not - have.
Billed as the ultimate game improver club, the Innovator X irons
feature an extra-deep undercut cavity back and extreme toe, heel and
perimeter weighting..
Combined with the oversize head and wide sole, the result is an ultra-forgiving, high-launching game-improver iron.
And what's more the set comes with a free Benross VX Proto escape club for forgiveness right throughout the bag.
Available 5-SW with an optional 4 iron. RRP £249 (steel), £299 (graphite)
Also we have the
