Welcome to Sudbrook Moor Golf Club

Sudbrook Moor is a 9 hole golf course situated in a beautiful part of West Lincolnshire Standing on free draining land the course is well established with mature trees, strategicaly placed water hazards and sand bunkers.
 

Course Development

The Course started in 1986 when Tim and Judith Hutton purchased the Old Barn and 17 acres of pasture land in the village of Carlton Scroop. Tim put in a practice hole for his own use and soon attracted the attention of local golfers who wished to use the facility.

Five more holes were added and the Six Hole Course was born with the six holes located in what today is the Practice Ground.
 
Then in 1990 the creation of three more holes and a reconfiguring of the course layout meant that the Nine Hole Golf Course was started, and the 'Old' Course became a practice area.
 
The purchase of an adjacent field in 1997 enabled the construction of 3 more holes and the re-configuring of the course layout that we know today.
 
Over the years bunkers, water hazards and tree planting have taken place on the course, whilst a Driving Range, Practice Bunker, Coaching Bay, Chipping Green and 2 Putting Greens have been added for improving players skills.

  • Ladies - Don't be shy, join other ladies on a Wednesday morning for coaching sessions, Tuesday mornings for competitions, and the social scene.
  • Equipment - for hire and sale in our PGA shop with advice from our friendly and knowledgable staff. Shop stocks Ping Golf Equipment, Benross Golf Equipment, Titleist, Footjoy and Masters. We also stock a selection of Junior Young Gun Golf Equipment.
  • Good food - experience the home made food in our Clubhouse available most days.
  • Outstanding - our A Team are the champions of the Nine Hole League and we have winning teams in many other events.
  • Local contacts - Other Golf courses, accommodation, eating places and garages can be found in the Contacts section.
  • Free coaching - on Saturday mornings between 10.00am - 11.00am is free for all children. Equipment and balls are all supplied and parents are welcome to assist, watch or enjoy watching from the comfort of our Clubhouse.


Family run

Sudbrook Moor is run by the Hutton family with Tim and Ben both PGA Pro's giving tuition , Judith dealing with adminstration and looking after the Ladies Section, Simon maintaining the Course and Fiona running the Clubhouse.

An enthusiastic staff in Peter Martin and Christopher Watmore run the shop, Driving Range facilities and do course maintenance.

Our PGA Pros offer a full Coaching service and Pro Shop offering impartial advice to help improve your game.
We have a new shop offering branded equipment recommended by our PGA Pros that is open most days, and a modern fully equiped Driving Range with Coaching Bay.
