We would like to politely ask all Sudbrook Moor Members and Visitors to assist us in helping to keep the club and golf course in the fine condition it is in.
There is a shoe and trolley wheel cleaning station by the practice bunker. We would like to ask everyone if they would be so kind as to use this area each time they come off the course. It is especially important for those Golfers using trolleys that they brush the wheels off at the station to avoid trailing grass all around the pathways of the club.
The Driving Range - Please try to find a mat with the correct tee configuration for you rather than changing the tees or swivelling the mats. You can use the tees on the opposite side of the mat to help you line up your feet correctly. i.e. With a Driver the tees will be inside your left heel (right for the Lefties) and for irons will be in the middle of your stance.
Also one final request, the use of Sudbrook Moor Practice range balls on the Golf Course is not permitted. We lose many balls each year from the range. Replacing and Re-stocking the machines is quite a financial task and as we try to offer Quality Balls for a very small fee it is important that we don't have to keep replenishing the balls too frequently. Our kind neighbours bordering the 9th, 4th, 5th and 6th Holes have recently returned to us a quantity of our practice balls they have collected in their fields. As I'm sure you can gather its not possible to hit the balls from the Driving Range to these areas, so obviously they are being hit Out of Bounds from places within the course.
