Lefties vs Righties Match
The annual Seniors left-handed versus right-handed 9 hole match play competition took place on
10 November with a total of 16 players playing a 4 ball better ball format.
For the right-handers under the leadership of the Seniors Captain, Ron Boxell, were Peter Farmer, Tony Sealey, Des Godfrey, David Stoneham, Chris Guthrie, Alfie Kent and Sue Hutton.
For the left-handers and under the leadership of David Swaithe were, Lorna Nichols (Guest), Bryan Greenslade, Alan Hutton, Maurice Green, Maurice Appleyard, Ted Johnson and Linda Whittaker.
Having lost the inaugeral match in 2008 the left-handers came back with a 3 - 1 win for 2009.

David Swaithe & Lorna Nichols lost 2 & 0 to Ron Boxell & Peter Farmer
Bryan Greenslade & Alan Hutton won 3 & 1 against Tony Sealey & Des Godfrey
Maurice Green & Maurice Appleyard won 3 & 1 against David Stoneham & Chris Guthrie
Ted Johnson & Linda Whittaker won 3 & 2 against Alfie Kent & Sue Hutton
The match was followed, with thanks to Fiona Hutton, by an 'All English Breakfast' in the Clubhouse. A great morning with great company.
